Paprika Steen, who was in New York last December to promote the Oscar-qualifying release of APPLAUSE, has returned to the Big Apple to shoot her next picture, Keep The Lights On. The independent film from writer/director Ira Sachs follows the ups and downs in the long-term relationship of two gay men (played by DAMAGES’ Zachary Booth and Danish actor Thure Lindhart), beginning in 1997. The picture, which began production in late July, is headed for the film festival circuit. The worldwide tour continues! In addition to previously announced plans for Swank Motion Pictures Inc. to release Applause on ships at sea, universities, hospitals, museums, trains, etc., beginning in September, a new deal is now in place to take the film to the sky. Entertainment In Motion, which supplies movies to more than 130 airlines around the world, will be adding Applause to its film catalogue for release beginning in January 2012.  Management is pleased that two of the most prominent ancillary distribution companies in the industry will be bringing this film to such a wide audience.
