Ways To Live Forever Raises Funds For LLS In Michigan
The Cornerstone Foundation, in cooperation with World Wide Motion Pictures Corporation, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), Studio C! Meridian Mall and the Friends of Jim Brandell Host Committee, is presenting a special screening of WAYS TO LIVE FOREVER. This unique fundraiser for LLS will take place at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 19, at the Studio C! theatre in Okemos, MI. Come at 6 p.m. for a fun mix and mingle time before the show. General admission tickets are available for a suggested minimum donation of $50, and VIP lounge seats are available for a suggested minimum donation of $250 (with priority given to the first 26 donations received). Donations will help establish a research grant in honor of leukemia survivor and congressman, Dave Camp. World Wide is pleased to announce that last week’s screening in Okemos, MI, was a huge success. Thanks to this special event, more than $10,000 was raised to benefit leukemia research. As previously reported, a grant will be established in honor of cancer survivor Congressman Dave Camp (R) , who represents Michigan’s fourth district.
Screening In San Francisco Bay Area, CA
WAYS TO LIVE FOREVER is headed to Saratoga, CA, where it will be the subject of a special screening held by the Jewish youth group, BBYO. The family friendly event will take place on Sunday, May 4, at 4 p.m., at the Congregation Beth David-Conservative synagogue located at 19700 Prospect Road in Saratoga. Tickets are $15 at the door. The impact of WAYS TO LIVE FOREVER continues! After making this inspirational, cancer-themed picture, young star Robbie Kay (Sam) and his father, Ivan Kay, became personally involved with fundraising for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS; one of the many charities that officially supported the movie) and its ongoing fight against blood cancers. On Monday, June 2, Ivan will participate in LLS Team In Training ride, which goes 109 miles around Lake Tahoe, CA. His aim is to raise over $4,500 for the cause.
