Appreciation of Friends & Siblings on National Brother’s Day

Do you have a brother? Or are you, yourself, a brother? Well, today’s the day to treat your brother or get spoiled by a sibling because it’s National Brother’s Day! Don’t have a brother? Why not take a friend out that you see as a brother? Brotherhood goes beyond just being siblings or sharing a parent or parents. No, brotherhood extends to those you consider close to you, the guys that support you even through your dumbest ideas. Brotherhood is about being there for one another through thick and thin and showing that you care.

Sam (Robbie Kay) and Felix (Alex Etel) have a bond that goes deeper than anything than they had in the film Ways to Live Forever, where the two saw each other beyond their illnesses. They saw each other as friends - even best friends - to the point where they were brothers to one another. Sam and Felix found brotherhood through their illnesses and together they tackled on a to-do list before death. That kind of bond is rare to come by. So today on National Brother’s Day, celebrate your own bond with your brother, whether they are related to you or not, and show them that you appreciate them!

Happy Valentine’s day and Organ Donor Day

Love is in the air, and whether you have a special someone or not, snuggling on the couch watching a great film with a heartwarming love story, is the perfect way to spend Valentine's Day. Love has many stage and World Wide Motion Pictures  has the perfect film for every stage of your lovelife. If you’re in a relationship for the first time, then you should watch Ways to Live Forever - the charmingly film featuring the first hesitant chemistry between Ella Purnell, best known for Maleficent, and Robbie Kay, best known for playing Peter Pan in “Once Upon a Time,”  and most recently as Tommy Clark in “Heroes Reborn.”  For a love story past the innocence of adolescence, curl up with Rusty Steel, a Romanian action film with a romantic subplot, featuring car chases, exploding sea vessels, and some great kissing scenes between the gorgeous Romanian Actress, Irina Bucescu and the smoking hot Johann Urb. For the LGBT community, we present, Pop Kowboy an action-packed, quirky comedy about three outsiders trying to find their place in the world.

Today is not only Valentine’s Day, but also Organ Donor Day, and though it may seem to be an unusual combination, a connection can definitely be made.  Love is symbolized through the heart, but it doesn’t stop there. Love is shown in many ways, and one of those ways is becoming an organ donor. The current organ shortage has lead to eighteen people dying a day while on the waiting list. Currently, there’s also a blood shortage in the United States and giving blood is one of the easiest ways you can help save lives. “Every two seconds, a patient needs blood,” according to  Todd Kulman, the external communications manager for the Red Cross Badger-Hawkeye Blood Services Region. We have the technology to save almost everyone, if we have regular blood and organ donors. This year you can show your love by become an organ donor at the DMV or giving blood at you local Red Cross Center and then curling up with a great film from World Wide Motion Pictures. Which has a number of films that will make you feel good about both of these yearly milestones.

Greetings Earthlings! July 20th is Space Exploration Day

Have you ever wanted to witness an alien encounter? Or maybe see an asteroid explode into another comet? Today we wonder about the vast complexities of outerspace, and continue to search for various other life forms similar to our own. Space Exploration Day is the day we decide to build our own rocketship and see the stars for ourselves. Millions of different photographs NASA releases for us to gaze at will never recreate the sensation of floating aimlessly in a space shuttle with no gravity to hold anything back.

It seems that the more information our civilization finds out about space, the less we seemingly know about. Will we ever find out how green are the alien life form’s skin compared to what we had first thought, if they even have skin at all? Will we ever find the beginning, middle, or the end of the universe? Is our physical existence expanding, or contracting? So many questions are left to be answered, which makes space exploration more exciting than ever.

Robbie Kay’s character in the film “Ways to Live Forever” had a fascination with traveling to outer space. Everyone has thought about it at least once in their lives. This could be the day you actually sneak onto a NASA space shuttle and explore the next frontier for yourself!

Actor Robbie Kay (Pirates of the Caribbean on Stranger Tides, Ways to Live Forever) has officially signed on to the new series titled Heroes Reborn, starring as Tommy, which is a revisitation of the original show, Heroes, which aired from 2006-2010. Together with his best friend, Felix, he embarks on a "scientific investigation" with questions, observations, evidence, reflections, and lists of all the things he wants to do someday -- like breaking a world record, flying in a blimp, kissing a girl for the first time, and experiencing what it’s like to be a teenager. In this poignant yet ultimately uplifting tale, Sam and his family face the immensity of an uncertain future with love, humor, and a touch of the unexpected.
